Farm to Fashion follows New York wool from farm to fibre to finished garment, tracing the farmers, mills and designers working to rebuild a more local and regenerative fashion system. Featuring Isabella Rossellini, Donna Karan and Mimi Prober, the film explores agriculture, biodiversity, craftsmanship and the relationship between fashion and the natural world.

I Wool Survive brought together Grindr, Rainbow Wool and designer Michael Schmidt for a 36-look collection created from the wool of rescued gay rams. Inspired by historic gay archetypes, the collection transformed wool from 36 rescued rams into a complete fashion world of hand-knit, woven and crocheted garments and accessories. The collection debuted through a live New York runway presentation, turning the project into an international fashion and cultural story. Through Oliver Halfin Studios, Oliver co-directed the campaign film and runway/interview and event footage, while photographing the complete lookbook and collection still-life imagery.

Staged on the rooftop of Anna Delvey’s East Village apartment while she was under house arrest, the show became one of the most talked-about moments of the season. The film captures the energy, tension and provocation surrounding an unconventional New York fashion debut.
